I was going through my old facebook profile pix and I found this.
This was taken when I was 16 years old...aww look how long my hair was!!!
I told yall I did the brown lip liner thing!![NOT LIKE THIS THOUGH]
But yeah this brings back so many memories.
I loved being 16...No real worries...I had my first job...and I was a PIMP!!!!
I took "mall" pictures all the time and passed them out to all of my friends in school and had like 5 left.
I actually wore those pants to school one day...dang I was a slut [But still a virgin] !!!
I would like to write a letter to 16 year old me [ got idea from an old Seventeen Mag]
Dear 16 year old Kiwi,
You are young, beautiful, and very talented. I know girl hated on you so much because you had green eyes and long hair and light skinned sometimes, but you know better than to act brand new and to feed into all of that hate. In a couple of years every last one of your haters will have 1-3 kids without their baby daddy while you are finishing up your college education childfree! In fact most of your friends will have kids and you will feel like is there something wrong with you for not having kids past the age of 21 because everyone else around you has. Arent you relieved? No kids for you for a while. Oh and I am sorry to break it to you will not go to California for college and you will change your major from Theater Arts to Public Relations [trust me you will love it]! I know you cant stand your stupid boyfriend Sean sometimes, but that is okay you will break up with him for good and see him in 6 more years looking like a bum in a broke down club in a dirty white shirt that your best friend made you go to because she hates you sometimes, and he will be in shock that you still look good and tries to win you back.
You wont find your first real boyfriend until for another 2 years when you enter college and it will last 3 years! You will experience the wonderful joys of love but also expierence your first heartbreak and will have to learn to move on and not cling to a man who you know is not on the same page as you. But dont worry, you will find a guy shortly after you break up who has a lot more sense and is more of a fit for you. Now I cant tell you too much of the details at this moment because its still a work in progress. I hope it turns out good, but you know you still keep it moving because you faith in God is stronger than ever and knows that everything will be okay.
You are doing good and just keep your head up. I know your mom still annoys you at this point but you will move out her house and live on your own so just suck it up for another 2 years. She will still try to have her input on things at time but she cant say too much because by that point you will be doing your own thing and your are pretty responsible so her nagging goes in vain sometimes. But the relationship will get a little better.
Well thats all I can tell you for now. Dont worry about your future...I am taking care of that as we speak. I am working at a PR internship [about time] and working on our career after graduation. God is going to take care of us.
